We champion the interests of local workforce boards through active legislative engagement at both the state and federal levels. Our Legislative Committee and professional lobbyist work closely with policymakers to support forward-thinking workforce policies and funding priorities that strengthen our system and improve outcomes.

FWDA proudly hosts the Workforce Professional Development Summit, Florida’s premier event dedicated to frontline workforce professionals. This annual conference provides hands-on training, networking opportunities, and access to the latest tools, trends, and best practices from across the state’s workforce system.
